When do I get my order?

Transit time varies depending on where you're located. Once your order is processed, we ship it as soon as possible through our domestic warehouse. Handling and processing usually takes us between 1-3 business days. Typical delivery time frame is anywhere between 3-10 business days.

 

If you're domestic, you might receive your items earlier. If you're international, your order could arrive later than the typical time frame, but the wait will be worth it! You can find more in-depth information about shipping under Shipping Policy. Please keep in mind that postal delays are out of our control. During our busy season we may need a little extra time to feed the cosmic penguins that materialize our products.

 

What types of shipping do you offer?

We offer flat-rate shipping based on an item's weight. All orders totaling $90+ are offered free standard shipping worldwide. Domestic orders totaling $100+ are offered free expedited shipping (basically that means you get the much faster shipping option for free).

*DDP = Delivered Duty Paid—DDP only applies to international shipping. Meaning we cover all costs to deliver the item to the your door. This includes shipping, customs duties, and import taxes. So once you receive your order, you won't have to worry about any surprise fees. No need to thank us. A kiss on the cheek will do.

 

Does my order come with tracking?

Yep. Tracking information is provided on all orders and is sent as soon as it is shipped. So you can snoop on your order's location as much as you like without it thinking you're a creeper.

 

Can I cancel or edit my order?

You sure can. Your best option is to message us as soon as possible so that we can do our best to correct or cancel your order. Once your order is shipped, however, we will be unable to cancel or change anything. It's okay, we all make mistakes (except me).

 

Can I exchange my order?

Absolutely. We offer a free, one-time size exchange for each order. All you have to do is return your order to us, and once we verify that the item is in good condition, we'll send the requested size to your shipping address. We'll also cover the shipping cost of the exchanged item. Any garment with a specific design cannot be exchanged for one with a different design. Stickers, pins, and accessories (such as hats) are not eligible for exchange.

 

Make sure to ship your returns within 14 days of submitting your exchange request or else your request will be canceled. We wouldn't want that to happen to you, so help us by submitting your request in time so that we can send you the size that's right for you. We'll also even send your doppelganger to your door to give you a hug.

 

Can I return my order?

I mean do you REALLY wanna return it? What if you just didn't?... Okay fine you can totally return your order. We'll even give you a refund once we receive it in our warehouse. The only requirement is that we must receive the returned item(s) in satisfactory condition (clean, undamaged, with original tag). You can find more in-depth information about returns under Return Policy. We only accept returns that have been sent within 31 days after the delivery date, so we hope it returns faster than your ex.

 

How soon until I get my refund?

That would depend on your bank. You can typically expect your refund to arrive within 10 business days. Some financial institutions aren't as speedy as others in case you're wondering why your money is dragging its feet to get back to ya.

 

What if my order's damaged or missing?

If you notice a manufacturing or print flaw, please reach out to us and we’ll gladly make it right by sending you a replacement in the proper quality.

 

If your order hasn't arrived, please reach out and let us know. We want to make sure you get what you paid for, and we'll do our best to help resolve the issue. Please note that once your order ships, it is in the hands of the carrier, and we currently don't offer package insurance. However, once we add that option in the future, we'll likely be able to offer free replacements when things go missing. Just like that. Shabam!

 

Do you ship internationally?

We currently do not, but stay tuned because we will be opening up to the world sooner than you might think. We're just a little shy right now.

 

What materials are your clothing made out of?

Most of our shirts, hoodies, and tanks are made from 100% Airlume cotton. Airlume cotton is a premium fabric known for its exceptional softness and quality. Airlume cotton undergoes an extensive combing process that removes impurities and ensures only the finest fibers remain. It's then ring-spun to create long, smooth strands, resulting in an ultra-soft, luxurious feel that's noticeably superior to standard cotton. Simply put, it’s one of the highest-quality types of cotton you can get. It feels like if your clothes loved you back. Finally, a new way to fill the void in one's heart.


What print method do you use for your clothing?

We use screen printing (sometimes called silk screening). This process involves turning a graphic into a stencil and pushing ink through a mesh screen using a squeegee to transfer the design onto the garment. If the design uses multiple colors, a separate screen is created for each one to ensure precision during printing. After that process is finished, the printed garment then moves through a dryer to cure the ink, resulting in a smooth, durable, colorfast finish. After a thorough inspection and wash to remove any residue, the finished product is passed on to us. And finally, we list it here so it can be passed on to you.


One of the biggest advantages that makes screen printing so great is that it gives you vibrant colors, no matter the color of the fabric. Unlike some print methods (like Dye Sublimation), screen printing isn't limited by dark fabric. And because the ink or paint for screen printing sits on top of the fabric rather than soaking in (like with Direct-to-Garment), the colors pop more. Not only that, but the design becomes incredibly resistant to fading thanks to the heat-treated washable ink that is used, giving it the ability to last long and stay vivid, even after tons of washes. Another amazing benefit of screen printing is that it allows for special enhancements (like glitter, gold, glow-in-the-dark, and more!), giving your outfit extra personality.


Anyways, that's what makes screen printing such a high-quality choice for- uh... are you sleeping???


How should I wash and iron the clothes I order?

We recommend washing in cold water and drying on low heat. When ironing, make sure the garment is inside out and that the iron is on low heat. Do not iron directly onto the design. Please be sure not to bleach the garment, as it can cause permanent changes in both the fabric and the design. If necessary, use non-chlorine bleach. We know you like to be a rule breaker but this isn't one of those instances where you should okayyy?


Are your garments true to size?

They for sure are. If you're worried about the garment shrinking, all of our clothing products come pre-shrunk, however, washing and drying on high heat could lead to additional shrinkage. As long as you follow the care instructions (located on the neck label for our tops, and on the backside label for our pants), your clothes should maintain their size and fit. As with most natural fibers, minor shrinkage can still occur over time, albeit very minimal.


We provide a size chart in the product description for all of our garments. If you're still on the fence about getting a specific size, we'll help push you off that fence. Metaphorically of course.

 

What size are your stickers?

As of now, we only offer 3x3 stickers, but in the near future we'll have two different sizes to choose from: 2x2 and 3x3. Designs that are more horizontal or vertical will extend beyond its size grid, but will still fall within the size guidelines (for example, a long, vertical design might appear smaller if it was strictly contained in a 2x2 box compared to a square-shaped design, so we would instead make it 3x1 to compensate). You'll get a reference for how big the stickers are in the product pictures. Snazzify everything with these stickers. It's a word, don't look it up.

 

Are your stickers waterproof and weatherproof?

That's right. Our stickers are UV-protected and waterproof. They even hold up well in really cold weather. Constructed from durable vinyl with a clean laminate finish, these stickers are equipped to take on tough conditions. You can even punch the sticker and it will laugh at you.

 

What size are your pins?

Our pins range from 1.5 inches to 1.75 inches. The standard size is 1.5in, but designs that are more horizontal or vertical will be 1.75in to compensate, since they wouldn't occupy as much space as a circle design, for example. You'll get a reference for how big the pins are in the product pictures. Regardless of the size, wearing these pins will give you a 'Charisma' buff!

 

What are your pins made out of?

Our pins consist of two parts: a base metal, and a painted coating. The base is made out of either iron or zinc alloy, depending on the size and shape (fun tip: you can tell which one it is by putting a magnet to it. If it sticks, then it's iron. If not, then it's zinc). The coating is made using black dye. It all comes together to give the pin a polished, sleek appearance. You'll get invited to the swankiest parties with these pins.

 

When will I get my pre-ordered item(s)?

Pre-order items typically launch within a month after it's initially listed. You can expect your order to ship within 3 days once the item becomes available. After it's shipped, you'll get a confirmation number along with tracking details. If anything changes or there's a delay, we'll keep you updated as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and trust in us to get your order to you as fast as we can. Note that you only get charged once the item is shipped. Hm? What do you mean "Being patient takes too long"?

Each month we have specific limited items that become available under the category 'Monthly Limited'. They're items that have special features. Here's the breakdown:

Yup. If there was a Monthly Limited item that you missed, don't fret. They'll be back next year within its specific month. If you want to keep track of all of the Monthly Limited items and when they'll be released, you can do so here.


Your favorite Monthly Limited items may be gone, but they'll come back one day! Just like dad.


How can I be featured on your site?

It's pretty simple. If you can provide proof that you've purchased any of our products, we'll tag you right here on our website. Just email us at be@true-individual.com with three things:


• A picture of you repping our product

• Proof of purchase

• Your social handle you want us to share (we only show one, so if you send us multiple handles we will randomly pick one)


Make sure the picture is high-quality and doesn't contain any words or imagery that can be deemed explicit or disturbing. Once accepted, your picture will be shown underneath the 'True Ambassadors' section with your chosen social handle.


If you want to be featured on both our website AND our Instagram page, then all you need to do is provide proof that you've purchased at least 3 items from the website and email us fulfilling the requirements above.


Having someone featured on the site does not mean that we endorse them. If you come across someone featured whom you believe has engaged in inappropriate behavior, feel free to contact us at support@true-individual.com with a detailed explanation and any supporting evidence. We take such concerns seriously and will review the matter promptly. We reserve the right to decline feature requests, and remove pictures and usernames shared on our site at our discretion. We may also review your public profile(s) to ensure your content aligns with our community standards and does not contain inappropriate material.

Are you an eco-friendly company?

We have strict standards on the environmental impact of our garments. When it comes to our apparel, we avoid synthetic material like polyester or spandex, and instead, opt for natural materials like cotton. We do use a semi-synthetic fiber, called lyocell. Lyocell is a fiber made out of regenerated cellulose. Most lyocell is made from eucalyptus trees, but bamboo, oak, birch, and other types of wood can also be used. The material itself is natural, but part of the production process involves dissolving the wood pulp using synthetic chemicals.

 

Lyocell is made in a 'closed loop system' using non-toxic solvents, meaning it gets recycled during each circuit to eliminate waste. The main solvent is amino oxide, which doesn't pose a risk to health, and doesn't generate any by-product. Despite being labeled as a semi-synthetic fiber, it is sustainable, biodegradable, and reusable. It also very easily absorbs non-toxic dyes without the need to be treated with chemicals, unlike some fibers such as wool.
